Norm and Terri Shaddox bought the Triangle Quick shop in the fall of
1997 as an investment. They ran the store for 3 years and then their son
Chip Shaddox was hired to run the place. The store was approximately
1500 square feet in 1997 and from 1997 to 2001 it was remodeled and
added on too. It is now approximately 7000 square feet and offers food,
pizza, chicken, boating accessories, bait tackle, gas, gifts and much
more. Chip Shaddox purchased the Triangle Quick shop from his parents in
February of 2004 and continues to add new items. His philosophy is to
carry a variety of items to serve the locals and the weekenders and if
we don’t have it, we will help you find it!! Chip Shaddox still owns
the Triangle Quick Shop and has ventured into another convenience store
with his parents. We purchased the Trading Post located to the east of
Pomme de Terre dam in December of 2005. After fixing up the place we
reopened the store in February of 2006. After being open for a month, on
March 12th the store was wiped out by a tornado. We demolished what was
left of the old building and started building new. By June 28th, 2006 we
were open for business with a much larger store carrying a larger
variety of items and will continue adding more food items. We encourage
you to stop by and check out both stores. |
